About Esther Jones
A bit of background ...
Esther is an inspirational musician - pianist, singer, teacher, band leader & choir leader.
Teaching piano and singing is a passion: sharing her love of music with students – both children and adults – to move them forwards in their musical journey is a privilege. From beginners to advanced, those who want to go through the exam system to those who just want to improve their skills and learn for fun, she loves working with each individual to help them meet their goals.
Based in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, Esther is also available to bring Sing Gold sessions to local care homes – she loves creating the magic that happens when groups of people come together to sing. Bringing words for residents and visitors to use, she sings a selection of well-known songs to bring joy to the community, incorporating appropriate movement.
Grade 8 piano and singing (distinction) gave her the basis from which she's performed for hundreds or hours of live music. Esther’s formed groups and choirs throughout her life, rehearsing groups of adults, teens and children to perform a wide range of music, from musical theatre to jazz to pop. Strong accompanying skills, coupled with a warmth and sense of fun, have drawn her into a variety of musical projects – as musical director of musicals and church bands, singer / pianist in a jazz band and band leader in a 7-piece functions band playing dance floor fillers.
She also created and grew a business leading choirs in primary schools, which became the leading extra-curricular performing arts provider in the UK, sharing the joy of singing with over 70,000 children.
Proud to have run local choirs with Rock Choir for 2 years, she led their award-winning contemporary adult choir rehearsals and gigs, also taking part in large regional performances.
For pupils who’d like to take exams to help them progress, Esther uses the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) system.
Esther is DBS checked.

Sing Gold
Interactive group singing sessions for care homes. Bringing words for residents and visitors to use, Esther sings a selection of well-known songs to bring joy to the community, incorporating appropriate movement.

First session at a new care home: includes 26% discount.
Regular Sessions: 5 x 1 hour each
